After three days at Sydney’s Mind, Body, & Spirit Festival, I have met so many female chocoholics! 95% of them are female, no surprise there but what I have found very surprising is that many of them are ‘happy,’ with their addiction and say things like : ‘ I love it, it’s my thing, I cannot go a day without it,’ ‘ it’s my only treat in life, and I don’t want to do ever give it up!!’ I have also met quite a few of these ladies desperate to talk and to ‘come out,’ in public that they really do have this addiction, and are so grateful that someone else really understands as it is so socially-acceptable to be addicted to chocolate.

” Chocolate resolves everything!’
‘ Chocolate is so much better than sex!.’
‘I simply cannot function without my daily ‘fix’ of chocolate.’
‘Chocolate is the most exciting part of my day!’
I did feel that my book ‘chocolate rehab,’ about my own personal journey of overcoming chocolate addiction and my coaching programme too, would be received well, especially given the fact that there are few books if any that address it deeply enough and take it really seriously, yet being in Sydney chatting to these ladies I now realise just how much it is needed! This one lady screamed at me asking when my clinic was going to be opened! I’m looking into that right now and I am looking to set up ‘chocoholics anonymous meetings,’ in the area too as so many of them want to be with other women who really understand their cravings and know how they feel!:)
I’m very delighted that I really feel that I can really help these ladies indulge less in chocolate and more in their lives on a mental, emotional, spiritual, sexual, nutritional, relational, energetic and life style level..
‘chocoholics anonymous,’ has now really, really arrived, most certainly in the southern hemisphere!
